IVE returns with their 2nd EP <IVE SWITCH>, coloring the peak moments of K-pop with their distinctive style, delivering a dramatic twist.

IVE's identity is defined by autonomous confidence and assertiveness, enriched here by a unique charm and a fresh variation. This confident change comes at the perfect time, signaling a new beginning with their always confident attitude and sophisticated, sensory explorations.

Their assertive expressions, poses, and the members' vibrant voices, all filled with confidence, continue to define IVE's refined style and perfect teamwork. Their proactive approach redefines IVE at this moment.

Where previous works displayed their selves through various perspectives, this album introduces a new narrative form, revealing another facet of their identity. By reinterpreting traditional story genres like fairy tales and transformations with a unique IVE twist, the album explores new dimensions within these altered genres.

The title track 'HEYA (The Tiger Who Loved the Sun)' adds a fresh element to the powerful hip-hop genre with its lyrics inspired by an Eastern fairy tale. The double title track 'Accendio' will present a transformed version of IVE through a mystical musical atmosphere.

The contrasting moods and styles of the two concepts are enough to spark interest. IVE tackles the theme of love with an assertive attitude, presenting their unique identity in two different styles under one thematic umbrella through their storytelling.

The music showcases the irreplaceable style of IVE once again, with hit lyricist Seo Ji-eum and Dynamic Duo's Gaeko contributing their talents. Member Jang Won-young adds unique lyrical touches, forming an undeniable dream team that elevates IVE's new identity and image appealingly.

'HEYA' is a track that provides a different variation from IVE's previous images. It starts with intense rap and changes the atmosphere completely in the chorus, melting the theme into the lyrics based on the fairy tale, leaving a strong impression with IVE's unique approach. The music video integrates traditional Eastern patterns and elements into the costumes and sets in a stylish manner, showcasing 'the beauty of the East' in IVE's style for 2024.

'Accendio,' a song about confronting deadly emotions of love, was led by Dynamic Duo's Gaeko, Seo Ji-eum, and Seo Jeong-ah in crafting its new storytelling. Repeating IVE’s unique spell 'Accendio' in the hook, it transforms IVE into a new image, creating a mysterious atmosphere that gradually draws the listener in. The mysterious vibe, combined with dreamy sounds, heavy drums, and intense rap, presents a uniquely crafted track showcasing another dramatic and charismatic side of IVE.

IVE's second mini-album [IVE SWITCH] is not only a continuation of their last album but also a signal flare for showing 'another self.'
